What is paintless dent repair?
Paintless dent repair, known as PDR, is a process that reforms metal back to its original condition without affecting the paint finish. The myth about dry ice and plungers removing dents and dings from cars just isn’t true. With our PDR process, there are no smoke and mirrors. We have researched and developed specific tools to repair dents, dings, creases and hail damage.
Working from the backside of the damaged panel, our trained technicians use specially designed tools to massage the metal back to its original shape. With our process, sanding, filler or repainting is not needed; the factory finish remains intact and the vehicle remains structurally sound. Most non-collision dents can be successfully repaired by this process.
There are certain factors that may limit the repair of some dents such as location on the vehicle, sharpness of the dent, and structural reinforcement inside the panel. Paintless Dent Repair is typically limited to dents and dings in which there has been no damage to the paint.
All of our technicians have become certified on the exclusive process only after successfully completing a rigorous training program and extensive apprenticeship period.
